A new study has revealed that late sleep increases the risk of child obesity.
It also points out that parents should try to get preschoolers to sleep earlier, writes CNN.
Thus, mothers and fathers should focus on keeping a routine in their children regarding food and sleep. Dr. Claude Marcus, professor and pediatrics at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden is the author of the study that was published this Tuesday.
107 children in Sweden have been subject to a study of 64 of them that one parent is overweight or obese.
Researchers have monitored each child's weight, length, and perimeter since the study began. Sleep is measured for seven days around the year.
They have found that children whose sleep is delayed after 9: 00 p.m. had the largest level of beli and the Higher Body Mass Index.
