National Council of Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Jakup Krasniqi, through his writing, says the new government at the helm with Albin Kurti should clarify its policy towards Serbia.
According to Krasniqi, Serbia has never shown the will to secede from crime and genocide policies, but has soon begun the era of normalising relations with Kosovo.
Krasniqi further talks about the tax. It requires detailed clarification by the current government on why it should be removed. According to him, any attempt to remove the 100% tax without any clarification as to where we want to go and where we aim to reach it will not be a productive choice, neither will it be sustainable; rather, it will create new difficulties. Krasniqi even asks the new government for reciprocity. It requires clarification on how reciprocity will work and how reciprocity will be realised.
Below, you can read Krasniqi's writing without interference:
Recent developments in Kosovo, including outside pressure, dealing with its political report with Serbia, lay out the necessity to clarify its policy of acting on the aggressive policies of Serbia in general, and those after Kosovo independence, with particular emphasis after Brussels' political talks have become necessary. Also, a new communication with the Euro-Atlantic countries that we have come here with has become very necessary, and we have to say that Kosovo has done everything in its ability to normalise relations with Serbia throughout the post-June 1999 period and has done it with them. To that end, we have made many compromises that they know and know best of is the comprehensive document on the Kosovo Final Status Election, also known as President Ahtisaari's Document. With that document, minority communities, and especially the Serb community, have been offered rights to a high political standard, how much they have endangered the normal functioning of the country's constitutional institutions. These policies have been achieved together with the Contact Group separately with Euro-Atlantic countries. While all these years, Serbian politics has not moved from its accounts of the known anti-Kosovo and anti-Albanian war. So, Serbia at no moment has shown the will to secede from crime and genocide policies and begins the era of normalising relations with Kosovo and its citizens. This policy is well known to countries of Western Democracy and not only to them.
These Euro-Atlantic countries and other EU countries that have become an obstacle to Kosovo's walking on the path of north-Atlantic integration, which should be shown by arguments all the reasons why the Kosovo government has imposed the 100% tax on Serbian and Bosnian goods. If there is a need for this issue, let a joint body of Euro-Atlantic countries be formed to come after a probe into a controversial conclusion that indeed where are the obstacles that enable normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia?! In Kosovo or Serbia, of course, by consulting the administrative memory of Rambouillet and Vienna. Otherwise, any rush to reach any conclusion will be nothing more than that “a sysif” effort to come back from the start. This situation requires that we return to the archived historical memory from the Rambouillet, Vienna talks, and to this day. To investigate that memory, it is good that they do not need Kosovo's help, nor that of Serbia. Otherwise, any attempt to remove Taksa 100% without any clarification of where we want to go and where we aim to reach it will not be a productive choice or sustainable, rather it will create new difficulties. In short, what exactly are we trying to achieve? Solving the problem or continuing the road that we know, and we all know that together we made this journey more than 20 years old!
We are assuming that Taksa can even remove the new Government of Kosovo, but what will we achieve with this action? Substatic Change or Continued Old Avaz? Someone says, "Let's take off the tax and put on reciprocity? " But what reciprocity are we talking about? Does anyone know that? If we don't make full reciprocity for more cardinal issues that help normalise Kosovo-Serbia reports, maybe it's better to stay where we are and wait for better days. In compensation for the removal of the Kosovo Government's Tax, what will be Serbia's move? Is she ready to normalise relations with Kosovo? Or leave Serbia “Living in Livadhin of Baba”? How little did she meadow in the foreign meadow? It is known that more than a hundred years and more, Serbia and Yugoslavia, did not at any time understand the voice of Albanians for freedom, equality and democracy. On the contrary, Serbia wanted Kosovo without local Albanians, so many times it exercised genocide crime policies. Do not condemn these genocide policies by the International Court of Justice (after the last three wars) have greatly strengthened Serbia today.
There are still a lot of people in Kosovo who know how we got here. We know what a political, human, and national spirit brought us here, which was like the water of a swamp that neither walked nor drank. It is known that with the breath of the swamp, we would live in the swamp of small Yugoslavia (Serbia, Montenegro), or the world's degenerated, birdlike creature? We, of the first spirit as well as those of the second spirit, know which spirit brought freedom, deliverance, and independence to the nation. Therefore, the rulers of 2020 are obligated to show the citizens of Kosovo which spirit they will follow, the way of change or swamp? And citizens know, it's obvious that national memories, not those that have myths, that some of today's government has offered a more advanced spirit than what has brought about the changes we have after June 1999, including independence declared on February 17, 2008.
We citizens of freedom and independence need to know exactly which spirit we will be governed from now on! Will we be ruled by the first spirit, the swamp, or the more advanced spirit than the first (of Independence)? The spirit of national unity would make us proud! And we have no reason to object.
