In the United States last year, some 34 thousand Americans died as a result of the seasonal flu. 

It's a massive number, but it seems that the most attention is on COVID-19.

This is happening because it's a new virus and people are more predisposed to fear things they don't understand.

I think we should calm down and see everything in perspective, practice good hygiene and use disinfectant.
