Local media in Brazil reported on Tuesday that the infected person is a 61-year-old man who had been in the northern part of Italy a few days earlier, where the most cases of coronobitus were confirmed in that country.
This person returned to Brazil when many carnivals are held and millions travel through various parts of the country. Officials are fearing that the timing of his return may have affected the further spread of the virus by this person.
Italy has become the most hit European country by the Coronavirus with more than 300 infected and 11 people dead. However, neighbouring states have not yet decided to close borders with Italy, although they have added control measures, writes “BBC”
However, the largest number of people dead and infected are continuing to be recorded in China. According to the latest data released Wednesday, 52 people have died in the last 24 hours, while the number of infected persons has gone to over 78 thousand.
