No trial hearing for children killed in Kolovica, their father says I'll decide for myself “justice”

The state is failing to establish justice for Florent and Florenten, two minors who lost their lives in an open hole in Kolovic. More than four years have passed when brother and sister tragically lost their lives in that country, while six criminal charges have yet to be held in court. For the father of these children, the state with this random exhumation is killing the family for a second, while warning that it will decide for itself “justice”.

Four and a half years ago, brother and sister, one aged 11 and the other 13, had suffered tragic loss in an open hole long ago in Pristina's Kolovica district.

Until their father, Muhammad, the pain is still fresh, the state says they're drowning for second.

These guys killed us twice. Once the song dies when our child is killed, but worse than death when you see it go as never existed. No one shut the door to you”, he says.

Many around his house, Muhammad looks through his window each day at the spot where his two children were killed, which he says is having a hard time spending days.

There's a hole in the door, they killed our kids. Today they come out and say you have helped me, what you've been helping me with for three days. Are they aware that we're alive? We're alive. We have two chips. Since we've lived here, how to get to the door you see the hole where the kid's been killed, these guys do company owners businesses, and our case is left with no time for”, he adds.

Since the case failed to obtain an epilogue for so many years, Mramori warns that he will decide for himself “justice”.

I don't have kids with hps to take as they want, as a threat or as they want, but I don't have a baby with a hp. I don't want this job done without solving it. If they want to get rid of it all, I know who did it, who left it here, and if they wanted to be their sponsor, I don't care. I care about my kids. I don't have to go to jail or die or, for me, the same thing became that when I lost a loved one's loved one, there's nothing you need to do with life in”

Even family lawyer Skender Musa says that no judicial procedure has been conducted during this time, despite the fact that it concerns the loss of the lives of two children.

The “since 2016, is the penalty indictment at the Pristina Foundation Court and we have received no invitation for court hearing. This is obviously a very sensitive case and the court should take into account, and take it more urgently, because we're dealing with an irreparable damage, with a damage in which all state institutions have had to be taken away, especially the Pristina Community as a competent organ that has been to avoid causing the risk of”, he reports.

Musa says they have sometimes sent emergencies to the Foundation Court to set out procedures, but the court has never returned answers. He estimates that these delays are unreasonable, since civil lawsuit has been handed over for more than four years.

However, if the side is determined that in case it comes to prescribing criminal acts, let it continue the procedure even against responsible prosecutors who have not filed charges, at least we have not been informed that they have filed an indictment”, he points out.

Kosova Prees has tried to get an answer from State Prosecutor Ekrem Lutfiu's spokesman, but the latter has not answered the editorial questions.

By the Commission for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms, Behgjet Shala stresses that the court is the only institution that determines someone's guilt or not. You know that hasn't happened yet.“For us it's pointless why this case as long as it's been hasn't taken an epilogue. It's been a long time and it had to get an epilogue, it had to address responsibility or justify those who were suspected of losing the life of two children. We estimate from the human rights aspect that it is a serious violation of human rights because children's lives are at risk, lost two children there, could lose even more. There is no point in having no court ruling under these circumstances”, Shala says.

The occupants have followed and handled the case. The complaint of parents of children who have suffered this case has been addressed to the ombudsman in the year in 2016. Action to address the parent's request has immediately been taken in terms of accelerating judicial procedures. After the actions we've taken, we've realized that the stage when this concern arose has been premature because it's been in the same year, even when the case has occurred. So the case was closed at that time. Now there's no more excuse for procrastinating the procedure because more than four years have gone by, say a written answer.

Muhamet Mramor holds little hope that justice for Florente will once be established.

“Something cannot continue whether the municipality is charged or the relevant ministry accused and sponsors the company that has left the country like this. Of course it doesn't work out, but there's nowhere to go, there's no one to tell me what to tell me, he says.

Annie, his expectations are being erased every day, he calls on the country's institutions to start taking this case seriously and to establish justice for the two tragicly lost children.
