Keeping the mask while wearing glasses may be very annoying: Not only because you never know if you should put your glasses on your mask or wear your nose and wear your mask a little lower, but also because with every breath of air you draw you can cloud your lens and vision.
Since masks are mandatory, giving up on their use is not a valid solution, nor is walking without glasses a solution. However, there are some techniques to reduce fog without using masks by mistake.
The solution found by some researchers in 2011 is to clean glass with water and soap glasses before putting on the mask and then let the lens dry or tow it gently with a rag. The goal is to create a kind of protective layer of soap that will keep the lens clean, but it will prevent fog for several hours.
In fact, fog in the lens occurs because the water contained in steam - shaped breath meets a cold surface and condensates, forming tiny points that create fog. Points are formed because of internal surface water pressure. Soap has the effect of reducing water pressure and preventing the formation of points by distributing moisture equally. For those who want a faster solution that doesn't require the use of a sink, there's anti-major spray.
On the other hand, the technique suggested by the Tokyo Police Department is to fold the upper part of the mask from the inside and prevent air lift to the eye. If, after folding it, the mask becomes small, the same effect can be taken by adding a strip of cloth (or paper) to the point where the mask lies in the nose.
Once again, in order to prevent air - lift, some models of stiff masks that adapt to the shape of the nose may be a good solution but cannot be found easily. Those who can sew masks at home can put a wire on the top so that it can fold and retain its nose shape.
