Pacolli has said that establishing the Army was not personal merit but a gift from the United States.
Meanwhile, deputies from AAKA have repeatedly stressed that the Army was founded in Ramush Haradinaj's time, how much the latter was Kosovo's prime minister, and that it deserves it.
Also, today Haradinaj wrote about the Army, thanking all MPs who have voted in the Assembly for forming the Army, writes Periscopi.
“14 December 2018 was a historic day for Kosovo, while the decision on forming the Army was one of no easy but most important decisions after declaring independence. I thank each MP who voted for the military, meaning a peace and security vote in the region”, has written Haradinaj on Facebook.
The full post of Behgjet Pacolli:
Two years ago, the Kosovo Assembly adopted three laws changing the mandate of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) in the Kosovo Army. A dream for all of us, especially for those who gave their lives for Kosovo. The Kosovo Army was not a personal credit, it was a gift from the United States to the people of Kosovo. Today, young boys and girls are part of the Army, ready to serve their country, always! Congratulations!
