HANDICOS today has successfully completed the 16-day company Shkolla opens the doors of the world, which has been aimed at promoting the inclusion of disabled children in regular education in Kosovo.
” The campaign was divided into four stages, where three of them were released through nine short videos on local television and social networks, through which we showed the obstacles and the way to regulate full infrastructure access for disabled children in Kosovo schools.”, says the HANDICOS report.
While on December 3rd, the International Day of Persons with Limited Skills in the Court of the Kosovo Presidency was established, installations of the Kosovo presidency opened the doors of the world, where, over five days, senior state officials -- including president, prime minister, minister, deputies, foreign ambassadors and figures known by the music, art and sports fields -- as well as child rights activists signed and pledged a greater inclusion of disabled children.
The campaign has been implemented under the project Avancing the situation of disabled children in Kosovo, supported by the UNICEF Office in Kosovo.
