In a reaction which the Oda of Kosovo Afarism (OAK) addressed to the Minister of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Health expressed deep concern over the uncoordinated decisions of the Government of Kosovo.
Referring to clarifications published last night by the MTI, economic operators are initially invited to file complaints at the MTI Market Inspectorate against any administrative action undertaken by market inspectors, considered contrary to laws and decisions in force, since Government decision No.0142, on the list of allowing the exercise of activities has included the food products sector, respectively.
Later, however, supplementary clarifications announced businesses and public opinion that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's decision, No. 0142, of 1111.20, will continue to apply as it has been implemented so far.
The OAK demanded that decisions which are undertaken by the Government of Kosovo as well as relevant ministries be in full co-ordination among them, causing no confusion and uncertainty to economic operators, and creating additional losses also hit by pandemic.
Among other things, it was required that any decision made by the executive will be informed in advance of the business sector.
Such ad-hoc decisions are unclear and are causing confusion in citizens and businesses, so the OAK demanded that government decisions be more co-ordinated in order not to prevent private sector work, especially in this period when businesses and the country's own economy find themselves in the most difficult situation as a result of pandemic.
