Every month there will be hearings for Thaci, Veselin, Selimin and Krasniqi

The Special Prosecutor has made this proposal, saying the ranks hearing will be held in January 2021.

“We think that the foreign conference will take place in January, even in accordance with our need for frequent and regular conferences for the performance of the issue we can further assess and direct the progress of this issue to go to trial. There are circumstances where this is important”, he said.

Former PDK head Kadri Wessel's lawyer has made the proposal on the matter.

Ben Emmerson has requested that the application for temporary release be considered, thus setting deadlines.

“Orari would suggest January 14th of next year. We applied for emergency release, and we did it within time. We would look for deadlines for the response to December 31st and to retaliate with January 11th”, he said.

Nicolas Guillou, special judge, has said he too agrees that such hearing conferences will be held once a month.

“Thought to have at least once a month such conferences held to co-ordinate attitudes. I think the parties need time and that this is a benefit of a fair trial, but I want these preparations to be faster”, he said.
