Milivojevich: An international force helps VV take power, tensions expected in Kosovo

Former Serbian diplomat Lord Milivoyevic expects radicalisation and tension following the Constitutional Court's decision in Kosovo, envisioning the return of LVV and the ruling Albin Kurti. He believes that for this major change, a major role was played by an international foreign factor, and not just the Constitutional Court of Kosovo. Early elections in Kosovo and court ruling [...]
Early elections in Kosovo and the Constitutional Court's decision to bring down Avdulah Hoti Government show the possibility of Vetevendosje's return to power, which could lead to radicalisation and the creation of new tensions, says former Serbian diplomat Zoran Milivojevic.
“If Vetevendosje wins the elections, then it is quite clear that we can rely on a more radical position, Pristina's maximum position and majority support in the Albanian environment, which could lead to new tensions and radicalisation of the entire” process, Milivojevic said.
He stressed that it is very important for the Serbian List to remain united again in the election and achieve the result achieved in the last elections.
Interestingly, as he says, this decision came at the moment when the US election process ended, “when we have a new administration and elections will practically coincide with the inauguration of the new administration in Washington”.
Vetevendosje's possible arrival to power on the Kosovo political scene will also bring new faces, given that some leaders of parties currently in power are in custody at The Hague.
Vetevendosje's “Arcade is also a victory for structures in Europe that supported that party. We know how Germany and some European countries were brought in”, he said.
It should be estimated that Albin Kurti will be strengthened with the support of Vjosa Osman, he points out that she will certainly seize this opportunity to approach Vetevendosje.
I find that even this time, a foreign factor has played a key role in bringing political changes to Pristina. The goal is to come up with new structures that are less loaded by the KLA, less burdened by the past and better prospects for. Protect the position on an independent Kosovo and act more vigorously with an effort to confirm Kosovo's independence with a new political set of”, Milivojevic said.
