New Year's Eve is the culmination of festive days for Albanians, which force them into everything, ranging from housework to numerous cooking and fireworks.
Many of us believe in inherited or heard superstitions. Some wear red clothes during the turn of the years, and others cook their favorite dishes and perform different rituals so that the year will go well with you.
But in various parts of the world, the New Year is expected with different rituals in order to be better and more successful.
Many cultures follow these traditions that if you believe them you have to practice:
1- Keep the money under the carpet
If you want to have more money next year, follow the same tactic that the Roma people follow. They believe that if you put the money under the carpet when the hour goes to 12 New Year's will bring you more financial income. For even more luck, we advise you to wear red underwear or break glasses on New Year's Eve.
2- Play the oven and the music
In most cases, money comes when earned in sweat. So if you want the New Year to be good for many people in Trinidad and Tobago, they believe that the key is to have a clean house and gather your family members by cooking delicious things for them. Dreams will come true if you cook black beans for New Year's Day.
3-Eat well.
Afghan people recommend that if you combine New Year's Eve, dried fruits like almonds, nuts, cherry trees, apricots and dried grapes, good luck will follow you throughout the next year.
4- Say goodbye to bad luck
In Brazil, people dress in white because they believe that the New Year will thus bring you peace and peace of mind. They recommend that the New Year should find you in the water, and as soon as the waves approach, you must jump as high as you can.
5-bust your house with money and round fruit.
In the Philippines, though, it is not necessary to look to the sea for them to wear dots and jump as far as they can at midnight. To bring you even more luck, they recommend putting some coins in the rooms when the clock marks 12. Keep lights lit at night, and fill the New Year's table with round fruits of different sizes.
6-Eat some grapes and pack the case.
Fruits are the principal protagonists in Latin American traditions: In Venezuela or Bolivia, people for as much luck eat exactly 12 grapes at midnight. For those of you who 2018 to find traveling the world here's a lucky trick you can do: Take the case and take a few walks around the house, this will increase your chances of seeing new places during New Year's.
