And we're hoping very quickly that through vaccination we can come to the conclusion of the pandemic. The government and the Ministry of Health and the ICHPK have made efforts to obtain the vaccine. So I can't say right, but we hope to have it in the first few months of next year.
Krasniqi has said there is a race between large and small states in securing vaccine against COVID-19, but that Kosovo will not remain out of it.
He has appealed to all Kosovo citizens to take even the seasonal flu vaccine to help immunize the population.
Meanwhile, whether or not the vaccine should be taken, Krasniqi has said that this should no longer be a matter, and as a reason he gave that each bar has side effects but that it does not mean that it should not be consumed.
Krasniqi has also talked about the current situation with the epidemic in Kosovo hospitals, announcing that it is more calm currently, although there is a large number of hospitalised.
We had the most busy period last week of November where we had 1010 patients. Today this number has dropped to 650 hospitalized, but this number is also high for our capacity. We were supposed to do a health staff reorganization. We have now added more than 1,000 nurses and hundreds of doctors to treat patients with COVID-19”, Krasniqi said in Info Magazine.
Krasniqi announced that the lack of the Francisco drug is no longer a problem, since it has been supplied in the last two days with sufficient quantity.
