Israeli Prime Minister Benyam Netanyahu and Health Minister Yuli Edelstein received the vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech in a live broadcast.
In Israel, the first vaccine against COVID-19 was first taken by Netanyah and later by Edelstein at the Sheba Health Center in Ramat Gan, near Tel Aviv.
During the broadcast live on television, Netanyah said that <x0 milliona” vaccine doses will come to Israel at the end of this month.
Calling on all Israelites to vaccinate against the Coronavirus, Netanyahu said: “I demanded that the first vaccine be given to me and Health Minister Yuli Edelstein in order to encourage you to vaccinate and give you an example”.
Israeli administration has stepped up an agreement to buy 8 million doses of vaccine against COVID-19 from Pfizer and BioNTech.
