The interior minister has invited immigrants who have helped in the fight against Avid-19 to apply for accelerated naturalisation.
More than 700 people have already been given citizenship or are in the final phase to get it, the BBC writes, translates Periscope.
They include health professionals, cleaners and shop workers.
The world's front line workers have been the most exposed to vivid-19, with some who have even died, including doctors and nurses.
France is among the 10 most hit by pandemics, with more than 2.5 million infected citizens and close to 62,000 people dead. /Periscope
