FKATwgs sue actor for sexual assault, emotional abuse and willful transmission of the disease

FKA twogs, whose real name is Tahliah Debret Barnett, has indicted “Transformers” Rain LaBeouf claiming to have subjected him to physical, emotional and mental abuse during their romantic relationship. It also accuses him of “exual battery”, a term that differs from state to state, but in Caliphron, where the indictment was filed, the name describes someone's sexual touch without his consent.

In an interview with the New York Times, FKA Twigs, 32, characterised her experience with Shia LaBeouf as the worst thing she's ever had in life and said she wanted to raise awareness of “tacts that abusers use to control victims”.

In response to detailed accusations about his behaviour, Shia LaBeouf told the Times that a lot of these allegations are not true”, but added that there is a history of addiction to alcohol and aggressive behavior and has hurt many people.

The indictment states that in February 2019, Tahliah was a passenger in a LaBeouf vehicle, and he took off his seat belt and threatened to crash if she did not claim to love him. They had been on a desert trip outside Los Angeles, during which, claims Tahliah, LaBeouf woke him up in the middle of the night, drowning him.

Stylist Caroline Pho told the New York Times that LaBeouf has also abused him during their romantic relationship.

In her statement, Tahliah says that the actor separated her from her peers, held a gun next to her stature, and insisted that she sleep naked. She added that she was afraid to use the bathroom during the night to confuse him with a thief and hunt him. In the judicial process, LaBeouf reportedly knowingly transmitted a sexually transmitted disease.

Tahliah told the New York Times that leaving LaBeouf became “difficult and dangerous”. In the spring of 2019, he stopped her from leaving, grabbed her violently, locked her in a room, and shouted at her.

FAWAGS and LaBeouf were connected for a little less than a year. She was engaged to Robert Pattinson, with whom she broke up in 2017 three years later.
