FFK leaders meet with FSHF president, VAR application discussed in Kosovo

President Agim Ademi and Secretary-General Erol Salihu have been visiting Tirana today, where they met with FSF President and member of the U.S. Executive Committee simultaneously. EFA, Armand Duka.

The topic of this meeting was the VAR application in Kosovo, given that Albania has started negotiations and preparations for the application of this system since last year. NFFK is working towards accelerating this process, so Kosovo too THE VAR begins to apply in as fast a time as possible, as the FSF's experience in this direction can greatly help, the FFK official page reports, the Periscope broadcasts.

In fact, the FFK will use the same system as the FSHF, which is one of the most advanced systems, where their experiences and software will be exploited.

This will enable the judge's intensive training with the VAR system and enable him to speed up his application to our championship. Given the lack of needed infrastructure in stadiums, the system WAR in Kosovo will be mobile, for which NFFK has UEFA support.

However, such a system is extremely costly, and according to FSF estimates, this system amounts to over 1m euros. The FFK is persistent to implement this project, which will require funds from FIFA, but also from relevant state institutions, given that such a system has already become necessary for football.
