He noted that Tesla was worth about a tenth of what it is now, while the electricity company closes an extraordinary year where a meteoric stock price turned it into the most valuable automaker on the planet.
Of course, in 2017 Tesla was still spending a lot of money and had not yet produced an electric vehicle with high volume.
Musk said earlier that Tesla was very close to collapse in 2017 as he led all of the company's resources towards increasing production of Model 3.
Tesla has survived after all, and since then has continued to release SUV Model Y and proclaim new vehicles like Cyberbruck.
But as The Verge writes, Apple did not immediately respond to the demand for comment.
Otherwise Tesla and Apple have exchanged too much “shaque” over the last decade.

Musk said at the time that an electric car was “the other logical thing” for Cook and Apple to do.
