The waiter's confession to the attack in Vienna: We could see this in America, Iran or Afghanistan but not in Austria

Monday's shooting in Vienna occurred in a highly frequent area, packed with cafes and restaurants.

He confessed to a 42-year-old waiter who was in a cafe when he saw people running in a lot of tension.

Jimmy Eroglu tells CNN that visitors who were part of the area he was working in suddenly began to leave because the shootings started inside.

Eroglu said he looked out the door to see what was going on and heard “at least 15 shots”.

He relates that he closed the doors at the cafe and told all in attendance to stay inside until no more than three minutes later the police were at the scene, he said.
