Surviving sexual violence by Serbian paramilitary forces, Vasfije Krasniqi, has felt complete last night when he saw the seats of the stadium “Fadil Vokri” in the Kosovo-Moldavi match, dressed in the call “become my voice”, in support of the victims of sexual violence during the 1998-1999 war. Vasfije Krasniqi in a letter sent to the Gazette Express says that the call “become my voice” is a powerful message that turns attention to survivors of sexual violence.
Although she felt fulfilled last night, she mentions how 20 years later justice is still lacking.
Her complete scripture:
So let me first express my consideration to all those people who in one form or another are expressing their readiness to support or support survivors through various forms, but to see young people with such a powerful massage which certainly will not remain unsurpassed not only in Kosovo I really feel filled, because now my attention is turned to survivors, and that certainly makes me really proud even when I see so powerful support and so many things. Of course, I'm here trying to pursue the various activities that are done in Kosovo, but also with other countries in the world, and I want to tell you that my country has already made an apparent emphasis on survivors and on such needles that Kosovo is going to stand up and face over the support it is showing.
I can't say that everything's fine because we have a lot of jams in the processes maybe the most important ones as it is justice, but as far as politics is now, it's fighting more powerful than ever, and it's forgiving all organizations without exception, all of those activists and men and women, and what I believe is that every day things are improving and surviving, or whether we're willing to see a lot of positive things, but one thing is certain that it's about me and all of us that the success I can tell you guys are already winning in my hearts and my men's recognition of the leadership of the country, and I'm sure they're going to support our country, and I're going to be responsible for what we're going to do.
