Without a commonly approved coronary vaccine, many people are resorting to vitamins to strengthen their immune system in the fight against Covid-19.
While many social networking posts view vitamins as a shield against coronavirus, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the American National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has indicated that most of the so-called “additional immunity supplements” do not make “anything”.
There is, however, a vitamin that may be very important in the fight against the Coronavirus ʹ Vitamina D.
If you have a lack of vitamin D, this has an impact on infection sensitivity,” said Fauci in an interview at Instagram Live with actress Jennifer Garner. Fauci did not mention Covid-19 specifically but spoke of the overall role of vitamin D in increasing the immune system in particular, of the benefits of this nutrients for people who lack it.

Meanwhile, there is a lot of evidence that scientists are studying about the benefits of this vitamin against Coddy-19.
Recent research suggests that lack of vitamin D may increase the risk of coronary infection and the severity of the disease. For example, some studies revealed that the deaths of Coddy-19 tend to be higher in the more high places than the equator, where many people lack vitamin D due to a limited amount of sunshine, especially during winter. Another study published in JAMA Network Open strengthens the importance of vitamin D for a healthy immune system.
Other research indicates that patients with lower levels of vitamin D, which are diagnosed with Covid-19, tend to have worse symptoms. However, not all studies link this vitamin to the protection of the virus. Many scientists are observing the importance of vitamin C and Zink. In one study, experts in Spain reported that patients with low blood levels were more likely to change their lives from Covid-19.
At the moment it is impossible to show a 100% cause-pass relationship between vitamin and Coddy-19. More evidence is needed right now, but researchers seem to be enthusiastic about the benefits of vitamin D to prevent Coddy-19 or to combat the disease more quickly.
