The current president, Donald Trump, returned to the White House yesterday in Washington, D.C., very differently after realizing he lost his presidential election.
Trump had been playing golf the moment Biden was proclaimed the new president of the United States and then immediately returned to the White House.
Trump's convoy returned from its golf club in Virginia via mostly cleared roads from other cars and people on Saturday afternoon.
But as he approached the White House, he was welcomed with a call and people who had lifted their middle finger.
As his convoy passed by, screams “lost, losers” from people gathered on the street.
Trump has so far refused to accept President-elect Joe Biden and is promising legal challenges.
He is the first president to lose re-election since George H.W. Bush in 1992.
