Reaction:
Austria's Embassy in Skopje, in order to favour the Austrian team” SCN St. Paulten”, today we are denied visas for our team players “Mitrovica”, even though the term was set and the documentation was in order. The match has been scheduled for November 4th.
The match is qualifying for the Champions League, while the Austrian Embassy “requires the Austria Club's invitation”.
We are the 32nd club in Europe licensed for European races, while the Austrian Embassy invents “called” that has nothing to do with sports and sports clubs.
All these maneuverings, Austria's Embassy in Skopje today, has meant to favour the Austrian club.
We as a club have made hotel booking, provided transportation, applied for visas, paid health insurance to the entire club, and the Kosovo Football Federation has provided the necessary guarantee to us.
So don't afford our club visa, it's an effort to put the game on the table, not in the field in a sports way.
We'll follow all procedures in consultation with the WEC and UEFA, with full confidence that the sports outcome should be put in the field in the magic football game.
As head of the women's football club “Mitrovica”, I regret this rejection, especially from our players, who are marking success in a continuous way.
Hajrllah Haxhiu.
