Hoti meets Italian prime minister, vows deepening co-operation

Prime Minister Hoti has expressed gratitude for Italy's support for advancing Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic agenda. Hoti has asked Cite for its Government's support to push this process forward, in particular the decision on visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
Prime Minister Hoti and the Italian counterpart have also talked about bilateral co-operation in the field of defence. Highly praising Italy's substantial contribution to the KFOR mission, Hoti has underlined Kosovo's commitment to becoming part of the Atlantic Alliance in the near future and has sought support for increasing KSF capacities.
During its meeting with Italy's prime minister, Giuseppe Cote, Hoti has also insisted on intensifying economic co-operation and the greater presence of Italian investors in Kosovo, including the signing of the agreement on eliminating double taxes, protecting investments and promoting tourism.
The particular topic of discussion, according to the official announcement of the Prime Minister's Office, has also been Kosovo-Italy co-operation, at the time that the entire globe is facing the COVI-19 pandemic.
