But one particular case occurred with Spanish football player Paula Dapena, who refused to hold a minute of silence for the Argentinean and sat down in the field as a form of protest.
Speaking to Spanish newspaper “AS”
Spanish said she had not thought of sitting down initially, but three days earlier was the International Day for Elimination of Violence on Women, and nobody honored the victims.
“A minute silence was not made for victims. So, of course, I'm not ready to honor an abuser and not victims”, Dapena said.
We remember that Diego Armando Maradona has never been convicted by the court for having all the charges, so football's words remain speculation.
