The Central Election Commission held the next meeting.
At this meeting, under the preparation for organising extraordinary elections for the mayor of the Podujevo and Northern Mitrovica municipality, the CEC made the decision to approve administrative guidelines for safeguard clauses to prevent COVIDD-19 infection for voters and election staff on election day. This CEC decision is adopted following recommendations from health institutions.
The purpose of this instruction is to define safeguard clauses for preventing COVID-19 infection for voters and electoral staff in the areas where elections are held; to determine safeguard clauses during the process of counting ballot papers at locations; and to determine safeguard clauses during the surrender and acceptance of electoral material.

In the previous meeting, the Central Election Commission has approved the direction for voting of persons who, due to a positive test with COVID-19, are in domestic quarantine and persons who have been assigned the measure of self-control. https://www.kqz-x.org/wp-content/unloads/2020/11/1092-2020-Bendim-for-roadisation al.pdf.
In this regard, during today's meeting, the CEC also approved the deadline for identification and confirmation for voters from this category. According to the CEC decision, this deadline is from November 15th to November 26th 2020.
