The economic recovery bill has not been voted into the Commission for Legislation, Mandate and Immune, the Parliament Rule, though twice it was put to the polls.
In this commission MPs had no remarks on the bill, but, however, it has failed to be voted in due to lack of quorum.
Commission Chairman Rock Manaj has said 15 amendments have been submitted to the Bill.
He has said no amendment has been in conflict with the constitution.
“Report with the amendments to the functional commission you received and 15 amendments have been submitted. I haven't seen if any amendments are contrary to constitution”, he said.
The Commission has also discussed Vetevendosje's proposal for completing the amendment to the Law on General Elections, which has also not been approved by the Commission members.
LVV MP Alban Hyseni has said it is necessary to facilitate the diaspora voting procedure.
“It is necessary to facilitate the voting procedure, where in many cases it costs the question of vote in office and we believe that through the way we have proposed to enable a easier way of voting”.
While the MP The PDK, Abelard Tahiri, has said this law is flawed, but should be given importance.
That two consecutive VV meetings have not been introduced, and I think it's the initiative we have to vote on, so the Law for General Elections is important regardless of the lack of money, but we have to deal with it. I think that this initiative should be broader so that the diaspora can have its own representatives in the Kosovo Parliament”, Tahiri said.
