Vetevendosje Movement MP Artan Abrashi says that whenever corruption, mind and vision is discussed, it goes to the government's multistory building. And according to him, the current government has no interest in fighting it, because it has tribal and party interests.
He during Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti's intervention in abolishing the anti-corruption task force in the Kosovo Police has asked the chief executive why he made that decision. Claiming that any members of his party leadership are being investigated.
<x) Speak, here is the place to speak, to speak truly to”, asked the prime minister.
According to him, the government has declared war on anyone who fights corruption, for which it added that without consulting anyone it has made a decision to abolish the task force within the Kosovo Police.
Whenever corruption is discussed, the vision turns to the government's multistory building. We need another event to reverse this situation. Whenever it comes to fighting corruption, looking back at an honest, willing, and determined government. Kosovo has had a negative experience for 20 years, while the positive experience was during the 100 days of government Kurti. It is common for politicians in Kosovo to have their mouths full of fighting corruption. Their truth is the fight against corruption, anti-corruption. Remember, I believe such a slide when a justice minister stressed from the day he took office, he stressed that he would commit himself to strengthening corruption. And this is really what you're doing”, he said.
He has stressed that the removal of this task force was wrong and that it seriously violates the institutional mechanism for fighting organised crime and corruption.
“In this sense, the extinction of such a task force without any preliminary analysis based solely on assumptions that this decision is unconstitutional, seriously violates institutional mechanization for fighting organised crime and corruption. So the government has decided to shut down institutional mechanisms for fighting crime as if this force was against constitutional”, Abrashi added.
