Late Friday night President Donald Trump, who was admitted to hospital due to COVID-19, in a tweet post wrote, “I think it's going well! Thank you all” President Trump said as he expressed gratitude.

President Sean Conley's doctor said Friday evening that: “I'm happy to report that the President is very good. It's not necessary to give extra oxygen, but in consultation with experts we've chosen to start therapy with the remdesiviral drug. He's finished his first dose and he's resting quiet”.

His comments were made known through a statement by White House Press Secretary Kaylaygh McEnanny.

President Trump was transported by helicopter from the White House to a nearby military hospital Friday afternoon, where he is expected to stay for at least a few days.

Before boarding the helicopter, the president waved several times to reporters at the scene and then headed toward Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre in Bethesda, in the state of Maryland. He'll be working from the hospital in the next few days.

With the aim of showing caution and avoiding any risks, according to his doctor's recommendations and experts, the president will work from Walter Reed's presidential offices over the coming days”, said Mrs. McEnanny's statement.

According to White House officials, there will be no transfer of power from President Trump to Vice President Mike Pence.

Earlier, the White House issued a statement announcing that the president will stay in the hospital for several days based on the doctor's recommendations. The president is in a good mood, has slight symptoms and has continued his work throughout the day,”, White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnanny said in a press release.

“Assigned by the aim of being more than safe and careful and based on recommendations by his personal physician and health experts, the president will work for the next few days from presidential offices at the Walter Reed complex. President Trump is grateful for the kindness and support he has received and First Lady,” completes his press release.

Earlier Friday, presidential physician Dr. Sean Conley, said in a press release that the president received an intravenous dose of anti-body doubles produced by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc, accompanying him with Zink, vitamin D, famotine, melatonin and aspirin.

President Donald Trump “continues to be exhausted, but (it's) in a good mood”, after being treated with an experimental array of antibodies to COVID-19, the doctor said.

TRAN-COV2, the drug of the Regeneron company, is part of an experimental drug class for COVID-19, known as monochlonal anti-strongs, which are being tested as treatment for patients in early stages.

This technique is widely used to treat a number of diseases. So far there is only limited data on COVID-19 anti-body bodies, but the head of the Department for Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauce is one of those who said he was promising.

The Regeneron company announced test results this week showing that its anti-body drug improved patients' symptoms with COVID-19 who have not been hospitalised, without any serious side effects and announced it intends to enter talks with the Food and Bars Agency (FDA) to receive authorization for emergency use.

Also Friday morning, a White House official said President Donald Trump is undergoing slight symptoms of COVIDD-19, after announcing that he and his wife Melanie were tested positive with coronary.

The president made the announcement on Twitter early Friday and said both would begin quarantine. President Trump is 74 years old, and this puts him at higher risk for serious complications.

The news comes just a month before the elections, where he faces former Vice President Joe Biden, who heads national polls.

White House cabinet chief Mark Meadows said President Donald Trump has slight symptoms following positive testing for COVID-19 but is expected to continue working. Mr. Meadows expressed optimism that the president will soon recover.

Two people who knew about his condition said that the symptoms were similar to the cold.

President Trump's campaign said on Friday that all previously announced campaign activities involving the president will be transferred to virtual facilities or will be temporarily postponed.

A White House official said the president's gatherings would be suspended for at least 10 days.

The campaign also said in a statement that the activities announced with the participation of members of the Trump family are temporarily postponed. Meanwhile, Vice President Mike Pence, who has tested negative for the Coronavirus, plans to resume his field activities programme, the statement said.

The president wrote Friday on the Twitter network that the first <x0 leave and I came up positive on test for COVID-19. We'll start quarantine and recovery process immediately. We're going to spend this” together.

Shortly afterward, the White House issued a memorandum by 74-year-old president Dr. Sean Conley, confirming the Trump couple's positive tests.

“President and First Lady are currently well and they plan to stay home inside the White House during the cure process”, said Mr. Conley.

He added that he expects the president “to continue performing his duties over and over again as he recovers, and I will keep you informed of any future development”.

Mrs. Melanie Trump wrote on twitter that “sic made many Americans this year, the president and I are in quarantine at home after we came positive for COVID-19. We're feeling good, and I've postponed all future commitments. Please make sure you're standing by and we're all going to go along”.

Meanwhile, the Democrat candidate for president Joe Biden and his wife were tested negative for the Coronavirus today, while Vice President Kamala Harris was tested negative yesterday.

President Trump, who for months had downplayed the seriousness of the Coronavirus, on Thursday evening confirmed during a telephone interview on Fox News that he and the first lady were tested after one of his helpers, Hope Hicks, was confirmed to be infected.
