Werder Bremen has decided to give Kosovo star Milot Rasica several days off after failing to cross Bayer Leverkusen on the last day of the deadline.
“The last few days weren't easy for Milot, there's been a lot of movement. So we decided to give him this week free so he can come together and have full focus on Werder.”, coach Florian Kohfeldt said, reports “Bild” on Tuesday.
According to the report, the 24-year-old Kosovo had agreed on the passage of Leverkuseni in the final hours of the crossing deadline Monday. Lvekuseni preferred his borrowing of Werder's sale. Rasica was said to have also traveled to Leverkusen to complete the transfer, but the failure of a common language among clubs for purchasing options did not end his transition to the other German club.
“We've been in touch for a long time with Leverkusen. But the talks started in the afternoon. We had tough negotiations. Leverkusen did not want permanent transfer. There were different models and questions about buying options and shopping commitments. In the end, there was enough time for solutions”, said club sports director Frank Baumann.
