Rahoveci continues to preserve the two thousand-year tradition of grape harvesting and wine production, while one of the biggest importers of this municipality -- Fatmir Shehu, owner of KosovaWine -- tells of the price they have won in Germany, among 6 thousand exhibitors. Shehu says KosovaWine has been on the market five years ago, and is still continuing the grape harvest tradition.
Shehu relates the species of grapes that harvest in September through October.
The grape tree usually begins at the beginning of September with the northerns of the pironary grapes, gamma, chardonelli, and resung. We are now at the time of the grape harvest of the rainy varieties, the vovotti, and in a week it will be CabaneSbore... This usually lasts from September, early September to October, depends on the variation of the grape harvest, which is the right maturity to produce the” grapes, he has said.
Shehu says that their aim is to spread across the European market.
“We have, from inside we have Pinnar, we have Kabarne Soubvion, Merlo and Suirah or Chiraz... We are currently on the market of the United States of America, in Germany and Switzerland and we intend to spread across Europe”, he said.
Kosovo's owner, Fatmir Shehu, says this year, has come out with three new wine interiors. He adds that with one of the frogs, out of 6 thousand exhibitors in Berlin, KosovaWine has won an award in January 2020.
We have two insides that are “Primium” and “Besa”,... KosovaWine has some innovations, now we've come up with three new interiors, it's Calaveshi, which is white wine “SuvionBlanc”, we have “Antigona Rose” and we've also gone out with the wine “Harmony”, which is combined with two types of grapes, “Pinari”, as well as “Vrahiz”,... We've reached “Ben”, with the winning first place in Berlin, out of 6 thousand exhibitors, we've won the first place that was best placed in January 2020, as well as the quality of the vein, I can freely say that we are leaders for quality in all Balkan pages”, Shehu said.
While one of KosovoWine's unique butts, Shehu has named it a “Golden Hornet”, where he says it is made up of 24 gold carats.
