The reason Kosovo farmers are being forced to pour milk into the river and channeling

Many farmers in Kosovo are pouring milk into the river and sewers, as they have no place to sell it.

According to the Milkies Association, the reason is that milk products factories are using palm oil and taking little milk from farmers.

Of the Kosovo Customs data in 2019, 3.4 million liters of palm oil were imported, while this import in 2015 was only 705 thousand liters.
