A man named Abdoulakh A was shot to death by French police on Friday after killing the teacher, near his school in Paris.
An 11th person has been arrested as suspected of investigating the case, the BBC reports.
No details of the arrest were provided. Four relatives of the suspect were detained shortly after the murder. Six other people have been held Saturday, including the father of a school student and a preacher, who has been described by the French media as a radical Islamist.
President Emmanuel Macron called it “the Islamic terrorist attack”, while he said the teacher was killed because he learned about “the freedom of expression”.
