As the LDK's Media Office reports, the meeting has discussed the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
“Mayor Mustafa stressed the importance of dialogue and closing it with mutual recognition. He estimates that reaching this agreement opens a new chapter towards normalising reports between the two countries would ensure regional stability, while Kosovo paves the way for Euro-Atlantic integration”, the report said.
Otherwise, Lajcak has met yesterday with leaders of other parties in the country as well as with the ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, Philip Costnet.
For the meeting with Costnet, Lajcak himself announced through a post in his Twitter account, saying the US and EU share similar interests for the Western Balkans, Express writes.
I had a very good discussion with Ambassador of the United States Philip Costet. The European Union and the US share the same interests in the Western Balkans. We want to see the region's progress and have a real and tangible European perspective”, Lajcak wrote.
