According to them, this decision is reducing business business business business business business business at a time when it is precisely essential to allow and to increase the business of offering service activities.
This association has also called for the adoption of the Economic Recovery Bill.
For us as a sector that is focused on employment, this bill would be a huge help. We hope that as many incentives as possible promote the economy in general and our sector in particular”, it says.
Full announcement:
More than ten (10) days have been made since the last relief of measures by the Kosovo Government's decision No. 0132 on 25.09.2020. Based on what is of interest to the gastronomial sector, those measures have been changed as far as working hours are concerned, allowing the exercise of servants' activities in internal spaces, and extending time indefinitely to the movement of physical persons outside their homes/banes.
According to ICHPK's latest data, it is clear that the situation regarding the spread of the COVID pandemic 19 is obviously stable even after the relief of measures by the Government of Kosovo. Every day we have fewer cases of infection and more cases of recovery of people affected by this virus. So this for us shows that the gastronomy sector has not been a factor that affects the spread of this virus. This shows that gastronomy has been very cooperative in respecting the manual, taking care that the health of the population is a matter of great importance to it.
One of the measures for which the sector is not satisfied and is being implemented by the last decision is the second point of the fourth paragraph, which relates to the ban on music at 9:00 on subjects offering gastronomy services. This is because business business afarm is shrinking at a time when it is then essential to allow and to increase the business of offering service activities.
As for the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the significant economic damage that has been caused and expected to be caused, although various studies have been done that show extremely negative numbers, no one can predict exactly without the total end of this pandemic, but it's obvious that we have many businesses that are going bankrupt on a daily basis.
This is due to the continuation of the same tax burden on businesses, difficult access to financing, poor financial support under employment, aggregate demand, not supporting economies from the financial sector, etc.
The Kosovo Gastronomers' Association, in addition to allowing music until the time spent on working hours, calls on it to be voted in the Parliament the International Economic Resemination Bill COVID-19.
For us as a sector that is focused on employment, this Bill would be a huge help. We're hoping that we can launch as much incentives that promote our economy in general and our sector in particular.
