Good game, development of local players and remnants of Superleague are the modest goals of the UN Brotherhood in the 2020/21 edition that starts after ten days at the Kosovo basketball elite.
To achieve these goals, the club's leadership has hired coach Ljupco Malinkov, who is also a assistant to the North Macedonian representative, to transmit COHA.
The blood squad has returned to the Kosovo basketball elite after three editions to a lower rank of races and aims to remain part of the Superlea even beyond the new edition. In addition to Coach Malinkov, the Brotherhood Team has engaged two Americans, Trent Baker of Malik Barnes, and local players, Roni Kostunica, who was last edition of the Union, of Kreshnik Adherija, who has been part of the team from the North American College.
The brotherhood will not leave it alone after the club's chairman, Kastriot Zherka, has promised a stranger who is expected to land in Gjakova in a few days.
“We are almost complete as a team for the new season, but we are just waiting to engage another foreign player after two Americans and coach from Northern Macedonia. With this team I believe we will have a good start in the Superleague, and the goal is to be a stable team”, Zherka has been expressed. Subsequent translation into the elite after three years is an additional motivation for us and therefore we want a good show. The Superleague is very different from the First League, as teams are much better quality and a strong basketball is played. In general, I see the Brotherhood as a team ready to prove that it deserves to be part of the 34x3> Superleague.
Even though the brotherhood began earlier with training, opening up the gyms that were closed with the decision of the Kosovo government Americans and coach Malikov joined the team earlier this week. Malinkov even believes in his team's potential, but says he needs at least two more reinforcements under the basket.
Malinkov's coach's career started in Macedonia in 2006, where for seven years he was assistant to the Feni Industries team, which he then led from 2013 to 2019.
