Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, has declared that neither Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq nor Parliament Speaker Ivica Dacic can stop speaking to him in Serbia's Parliament.
Kamberi has today had a tough speech in the Serbian legislature, and the immediate reactions he received from Dacic's Vuciq.
He in his address to MPs has said democracy in Serbia is worse than in the time of dictator and criminal Slobodan Milosevic and Serbia's true face is this.
My “with a speech was shown the truth of democracy in Serbia and the crimes they have committed in the former Yugoslavia, respectively, in Kosovo. And today the true face of Serbia and the fragility of democracy” was shown, Kamberi said.
According to him, there is an imposing and totalitarian spirit in Serbia's parliament, according to him, this current government will not fulfil decisions on the Presevo Valley.
Our attitude is that we cannot give the vote to such a government and such a speaker of parliament. This new government is the continuation of those earlier, since they have never fulfilled decisions on the Presevo Valley”, Kamberi said.
Speaking of the threats Dacic made to him today during his speech, Kamberi said they, despite these bringings and threats, would not stop at their discretion to protect the rights of Albanians.
“Dacic warned me that I will not allow such speeches, but we will not stop, despite the measures he could take. Freedom of speech is also allowed by laws and regulations of the Assembly”, he said.
Kamberi also said there are three agreements Albanians have signed with Serbian governments since 2001, but none have been implemented.
The one among the agreements is exactly signed by Daciqi. But no matter what measures they may take, we will continue to present our problems. If out of 250 deputies, there are only 6 of the opposition, and there is no tolerance for those six, it speaks of the level of democracy there”, Kamberi said in RTK.
