US President Donald Trump is being sharply criticised for his statements in the election campaign, citing the agreement reached between Kosovo and Serbia on September 4th at the White House, the same is referring to as “the outcome of a 400-year war” between these two countries.
Even the head of the Foreign Relations Committee in the House of Representatives, Elliot Engel, has reacted to the American president in this regard.
He has reminded Trump that the war in Kosovo ended two decades ago, and that, according to him, merit it is former president, Bill Clinton and NATO.
Dear President Donald Trump, the war in Kosovo has ended two decades ago, in 1999. You didn't finish it. President Bill Clinton and NATO have completed it”, Engel wrote.
