Who is Djuric's successor to the Kosovo office: Petar with a long career

Petkov was appointed head of the Office because of Djuric's new position, which is leaving for the position of Serbian ambassador to the United States.

However, the name of the new official is not very well known in Kosovo.

As the Serbian daily Danas reported, Petkov has so far been assistant director of the so-called Office for Kosovo.

He was the spokesman for the Democratic Party of Serbia at the time when former Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica was also the leader of this party, which left in 2014, shortly after Kostunica.

Meanwhile, he became a member of the Serbian Progressive Party, and he has been acting as assistant director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija since April 2016.

Petkov and Djuric signed the Processeverbal for transferring tasks to the office of director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, in the presence of members of the former director's expanded board, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced.

The new director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija surrendered: The report on work, the report on the number and structure of workers and employees, and the regulation for internal organisation and systematisation of jobs in the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

Petkovic completed three years of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Belgrade University, the Department of International and European Studies, and on October 9th 2018, he defended the doctor's dissertation with the subject “Transnationalism of European Christian Democracy in the Century 20”, winning the title The Doctor of Political Sciences.
