Deliu reacts to history texts: All Albanian people offended

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP (PDK) Blerta Deliu, at today's plenary session, has commented on the texts of history, which he said not only distorts historical truth, but to the most disgusting level is offended and scorned by all Albanian people. She said Albanian authors in these texts have [...]
She said Albanian authors in these texts have accepted rewrites of Kosovo's history, acknowledging the relativism of Serbian crimes and that it is in line with Belgrade's manipulative projects to equate the gelatin with the victim.
The “Tacts hold the authorship of several Albanian academics, who for a ridiculous honornorthrope have fallen mad at their participation in the project. Worse than that, however, they have never distanced themselves from these publications, have not resigned from this project, and in the worst case, these authors do not take the least responsibility in trying to shift their blame to publishing editorials. Now, the main issue is the lack of intellectual responsibility, the lack of national responsibility of these coauthors... Unfortunately, these authors on behalf of Kosovo and its history have also accepted the rewrite of Kosovo's history, thus acknowledging the relativism of Serbian crimes, which is in line with Belgrade's unhindered manipulated projects to equate the gelatin with the victim. Having open the wounds of war, such as the found and others we should never allow to distort what we have had on our backs as an Albanian people, she said.
The PDK MP said that the LDK's extreme quadric politicisation of the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts seriously harms professionalism, academic integrity and the quality of the work of this institution.
It already called the silence of the History Institute unacceptable, saying institutions should distance themselves from the authors of these texts and launch responsibility procedures against them. On the contrary, she said that distorting history from these institutions would be legitimised.
PDK MP said that since one of the authors of those books is LDK deputy Frasher Demaj, according to her, the LDK should clearly declare whether it agrees with what is written in the history texts written by its deputy.
