Pandemia has greatly influenced Kosovo's economy. As a trigger for budget cuts, works on the Pristina highway have been imposed, which began in 2018. The Ministry of Infrastructure has also listed the long procedures regarding expropriation.
The Pristina-Gjianan-Gylan Elu-White will enable all citizens to have a faster and more efficient driving connection.
The works, which began in 2018, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure, were delayed because of procedures on expropriation and budget cuts that took place in time of pandemic.
In an answer to the news portal.net, from the Ministry of Infrastructure, it was stressed that this is why construction of the Pristina-Gylan highway, and the White Law was delayed.
“Work on building the Banu-Bresalct Road Auto, started in 2018. Due to delays in expropriation procedures and timely budget cuts in the pandemic, there are delays in implementing works”, MI said.
Work - related problems include residents of the village of Glama, who now have to spend time on another road so that circulation can be made available.
But, according to the ministry, the road will be maintained until the construction of the subpass, which is near the main road of this village.
After the end of the subpass, it will be invested in finalising the highway with the village of Glame”, the Infrastructure Ministry declared.
It was even stressed that Gnjilan's highway will remain at the top-priorities for the Ministry of Infrastructure, to be completed in terms as fast as possible.
Due to the impasse in expropriation and lack of budget, Minister Abrashi is working to give priority to important projects such as the Gjilan auto. So far the works are continuing in the areas where expropriations have been carried out and as much as there are budgets are being worked on finalising this” project, MI said.
It should be remembered that the big fuss was made in terms of the autowork that links the capital and the border point of the White Land.
The highway in question was designed to be 47.1 km long and four - laned, connecting the corridor 6.7 and 10.
Most of this highway is designed to pass through uninhabited social sites, and the first estimates had become known that it costs about 260m euros.
