The presidency has said that even at preliminary meetings of the presidency there has been compliance with such an issue, however, he says people in Kosovo should think that at least someone in Bosnia and Herzegovina thinks about recognising independence.
Now we've brought this thing into first, and I think it's not a bad move. Friends from Kosovo thought they were all indifferent to the issue. Now at least we have shown that this is not the case and that we are not all the same in BiH. We sent messages to Kosovars that we are interested in recognition”, Komsic told the Bosnian news agency Fena, the newspaper Express.
He has now said that because of Bosnia's indifference to recognition, Kosovo had set the tax, and had treated Bosnia the same as Serbia. The statement even says the treatment was even worse, since according to him, Kosovo and Serbia are co-operating”.
They now know that in BiH they have friends, despite Dodik's stance. Twenty days ago, Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia summoned me and thanked me for having accepted Kosovo's recognition, being fully aware of Dodik's opposition, and that recognition would be difficult to achieve at this moment”, Komsic stressed.
