VV-Srpska government: 6 most radical positions violated by Albin Kurti

This political party has changed radically since its beginning until now. The change in itself may not be bad, but the case in question was without accountability, without apology, and completely in secret.

Kurti has already called the Parliament session to form the government and without the LDK agreement in the background, his only ally is Republika List.

Periscope lists some of the most serious violations of the positions this political party has made, thus abusing citizens' dissatisfaction with the state of the country.

1. Negotiating

Vetevendosje viewed our political system as imposed and considered elections to be “fraud” by corrupt politicians.

On the walls of many different dwellings in Kosovo cities before 2010, it was written by its activists “I vote... They benefit. ” encouraging citizens to boycott the elections massively.

But things changed. This political party would also enter the political race itself in our electoral system by betraying efforts to overturn an international presence that they believe had undermined the possibilities for expressing civic will.

In view of his previous stance, Vetevendosje found it hard to accept itself as a “apart”, constantly calling itself “Movement”. But even this discomfort has already been overcome by them.

2. Not Negociata, Vetevendosje!

The Vetevendosje movement also violated the principle from which it was founded: “Vetevendosje”. This political group initially demanded that people express themselves to Kosovo's final status, meaning that civic will on the issue could be “Union with Albania”. He strongly opposed Vienna's negotiations, as he rejected with the same force and severity other negotiations that began after Kosovo's declaration of independence.

According to them, Serbia should apologise for the crimes committed during the war, and should also offer reparations for the damages caused. Lately, this party has openly admitted it will enter negotiations.

Even Xhelal Svechla of this party was seen drinking coffee and discussing with the notorious Serbian politician Marko Djuric. This meeting preceded Kurt's meeting today with Goran Rakiqi.

3. Internationals abroad

Vetevendosje was against international presence and power in our country. Few of us may have forgotten the scenes in which activists of this movement roll the cars of the Unmik mission. Many harsh statements against the other international mission also come to mind.

This open party had also criticised the role of American ambassadors, who often got involved in political internal issues in Kosovo, and in particular in linking inter-party government coalitions.

However, even this attitude towards internationals was changed, and Vetevendosje invited Quinn's ambassadors two days ago to go to a coalition meeting with the LDK.

4. The Leader's Cult

No Vetevendosje activist is irreplaceable” Kurti said and repeated as his activists' choir. But what was actually thought was that “no Vetevendosje activist was irreplaceable except Albin Kurti”.

Kurti has already won the status of the retinuous in his party by changing the party statute, which called on him to resign from the position of Parliament Speaker if he became prime minister.

Kurti will be both prime minister of the country and chairman of Vetevendosje!

Vetevendosje repeatedly criticised other parties for lack of domestic democracy.

5. National Union

What made Vetevendosje important on our political scene was its demand for national unity with Albania. Currently, this political party has forgotten that stance and seeks to speed up steps for EU accession and for strengthening the state of Kosovo.

Kurt even had another idea to replace the national union. It is the “AlbanianFederate” that would consist of the state of Kosovo and the state of Albania. That means Mr. Kurti is currently one of the biggest promoters of the Kosovo nation.

6. Internal Dialogue With Serbian List

 Internal dialogue with Kosovo Serbs was another promise Kurti made. But from today's developments it turns out he will co-operate with the Serbian List, completely ignoring the rest of this community.

Within that stance is the promise that he would not coalition with the Serbian List.
