Yesterday, through a manipulated video, it was reported that Ambassador William Walker had refused to give the hand to President Hashim Thaci at a restaurant in Shtime, following the remarks of the 21st anniversary of the Recak massacre.
This divided video from the context and intended to appear as if it had not extended its hand was published for the first time on social networks by Vetevendosje Movement activist in the Entrance Community, Arsim Rama, writes news.
But the full video shows that after President Thaci's warm embrace with Ambassador Walker, the second waved his hands, and that part was selectively and biased.
Ambassador Walker had told the world of the massacre committed by Serbian forces in Recak, where 45 Albanian civilians were executed.
In his post yesterday, President Thaci had especially thanked him, saying Ambassador William Walker always stood by us.
