Jho Viafara has been extradited to the US in connection with drug trafficking charges. Former Real Sociedad football player was arrested last year in the town of Cal in Colombia by DEA forces and local anti-drug units.
The 41-year-old has denied all charges. He allegedly belonged to the “Gulf” cartel that controls the drug trafficking network in Colombia.

Jho Viafara has previously played with European-known teams such as Portsmouth, Southampton and Real Sociedad, as he retired in 2015.
