Oil prices rose by 2 per cent today, with gybrentine exceeding $70 per barrel after US President Donald Trump threatened to impose sanctions on Iraq if American troops are forced to leave the country.
The crude oil of the northern sea, by yourself, increased to $70.27 per barrel per night, to $1.67, or 2.4 percent from Friday, Reuters reports.
Light American Oil W IT is sold for $44,39 per barrel, increasing $1.34 or 2.1 percent from Friday. During the trade session, WTI oil touched at one point the level of 64,44 dollars, the highest since April last year.
Blacksar's prices thus increased registered profits Friday, when they rose more than 3 per cent after the assassination of Iranian military commander Qassem Sulejmani in an American air strike.
The murder has raised fears of a broader conflict in the Middle East that could disrupt oil supplies from the region, representing nearly 50 percent of the global oil production.
Analysts predict oil prices will range from $65 to $75 per barrel in 2020, due to increased risks for oil infrastructure in the Middle East.
Otherwise, the Iraqi Parliament yesterday adopted a resolution by which American military troops from the country are required after the murder of the Iranian general.
