The Vetevendosje movement has proposed Albin Kurtin as a mandate for forming the new government over 110 days after the day of elections held in Kosovo.

The constitutional deadline for forming the government has begun to flow, and Vetevendosje Movement leader Albin Kurti has yet 13 days left for government formation today.

Kurti, through a video message, has invited the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) yesterday to return to the negotiating table and find a common language to reach the co-governance agreement, writes news.net.

In this video published in his official profile on the social Facebook network, Kurti has made it clear to LDK that the proposed non-council agreement with the LDK but voted by the latter is top priority and that citizens need a new government as they wish.

He also stressed that his mandated proposal for prime minister has handed over to President Hashim Thaci, without any agreement with the LDK.

But Kurti has also indicated that the Vetevendosje Movement has not accepted LDK's recent bid for co-government, but has called on them to sit down and find a common language to reach the agreement for co-governance.

While today, the Democratic League of Kosovo has held the gathering of party leadership to come out with an official stance behind it.

The leader of this party, Isa Mustafa, has indicated after the meeting that by the end of the week, agreement should be reached with Vetevendosje, or found no agreement will be reached.

And we're going to respect this, and I think the deal should be a balanced agreement. We've given a proposal and we think that the location should handle it more carefully, and by the end of this week we have an answer. We with Kurt have been in communication, but our position is at the moment that we sit down to make deals, or that our contacts yield results”, Mustafa said.

Vetevendosje Movement leader Albin Kurti has indicated willing to form the government without the Democratic League of Kosovo if the latter vote for prime minister.

Likewise, the Democratic League of Kosovo has indicated willing to vote Kurti for prime minister if they fail to reach agreement on forming the government together.

Both political subjects have concreteised positions and express extremely polarising languages in terms of sharing positions in the joint government.

Glauk Konjufca's proposal for the head parliament and his vote by the LDK has complicated even more coalition negotiations between the two parties, as the Speaker of the Assembly's position under the principle agreement would belong to the Democratic League of Kosovo.

In this situation, the Democratic League of Kosovo has rejected the Vetevendosje Movement's offer with its increased number of ministries and has called for the post of prime minister until the president is voted and then to return Vetevendosje.

The president's post is the exclusive request of the Democratic League of Kosovo, which the Vetevendosje Movement does not agree with.

The equal division of the ministries, in the case when prime minister will be Kurti and will have, a deputy prime minister and 5 ministries, while the LDK will have the prime minister, a deputy prime minister, the proposal for the president, and 5 the minister is the most controversial agreement, but has been unable to resolve Vetevendosje with the election of Konjufca at the head of the Parliament.

The Vetevendosje Movement has proposed increasing the number of ministries where the LDK would benefit one ministry, while another would take minorities, but this offer is considered non-Serb by the Democratic League of Kosovo.

Today, when there are still 14 days left by the closure of the legal deadline for forming the government, the agreement between these two parties does not seem to be near.

The only three options in the present situation are: 1. The eventual agreement between the LDK and the VV, where Glauk Konjufca resigns from the post of chief parliamentary, Albin Kurti forms the government with 10 Vetevendosje ministers and is voted by the Democratic League of Kosovo or Kosovo announces extraordinary new elections.

The eventual agreement between the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje movement seems impossible after Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has not been declared over this issue since he is in the post of first seat of the Assembly and has given no indication that he can resign.

Government formation by Albin Kurti without the Democratic League of Kosovo, but with the latter's votes not denied by the leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, but how functional a minority awareness government of political issues has cast enough doubts.

That Kosovo going to extraordinary new elections is mentioned often, but according to policy connoisseurs it would seriously harm the country politically and economically.

It remains to be seen in the next 14 days whether Albin Kurti will find the alternative to forming the government or after that, another ten-day legal deadline will run as the second opportunity for Kurti to form the government.

Following these two constitutional deadlines, unless the government is formed, the country goes automatically to extraordinary elections.
