Data on the country's underground wealth has been presented in Kosovo's mining strategy. Gold is one of the minerals that enrich Kosovo's underground.

The mining strategy says that gold is also presented as pure (insulted) in river aluvial deposits, but so far gold and silver have been extracted only from lead and zinch.

In the mining strategy, data is based on little research that has been carried out in the vast territory of Artana, Yunik, on the Ternava River, Dragash, in the vicinity of Prekovci (Kriva Reka), Glame, and east of Korea.

The Artana Mine (former-Novoberda) is richer in gold. This mine is estimated to contain gold reserves of up to two thousand and 700 pounds.

“Ari, which is connected to mineralisations and lead-zink sites, is represented at the measurable level at the Artana mine, where gold content is larger and this mine is known as the location of the highest gold composition in Kosovo. Gold resources in the Artana mine are estimated to be 2,700kg”, the Kosovo Mine Strategy says.

On the other hand, data on gold content has been presented in the Strategy in each explosive tone. For example, in Stanton it is estimated that the content of gold in one ton is only 0.5 grams.

“According to countries, this gold content is valued: Stanterrg: 0.6 g/t, Bellobrod: 0.7 g/t, Crnac: 1.0 g/t, Hajval: 0.5 g/t, Kizhnica: 1.1 g/t, Badovc: 0.5 g/t, Artane: 1.6 g/t, Crepula: 0.13 g/t”, says further in the mining strategy.
