Andres Parmas will no longer be a judge in Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague, as 42-year-old general prosecutor of Estonia has been appointed.
Parmas, who has worked in Kosovo even with the EULEX mission in 2013, was in the composition of 18 judges of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague, where he was employed in 2017.
However, Parmas will not continue to remain court at the Special Court for War Crimes, reports Insander.
Estonia's government has named Andres Parmasin General Prosecutor on Thursday, after the mandate of former Prosecutor General Lavly Peling ended in October last year.
In the past, he was a teacher of various courses at the University of Tartu (Tartu) in Estonia, in criminal law, the principles of international criminal law and their implementation in local law.
From January 2003 to June 2013, he had worked as a legal reference to the Supreme Court of Estonia.
