Italian ambassador confirms support for Kosovo's European integration

In the course of meetings with representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in our country, Kosovo Republic Speaker Glauk Konjufca hosted Italy's ambassador to Kosovo, Nicolaa Orlando, today.

Italian diplomat congratulated Chief Parliamentary Konjufca on occasion of election president of the Republic of Kosovo

Chief Parliamentary Konjufca thanked Italy's ambassador for the support his country has given Kosovo at different times and circumstances, prompting the need for this support to continue in the future.

Konjufca said that for Kosovo it is of vital interest the support of official Rome, both on the international level and on the domestic level, such as economic development, the establishment of the welfare of citizens, the strengthening of rule of rule and law, and the further consolidation of democracy.

Ambassador Orlando, in turn, also confirmed Italy's commitment to the progressive European integration of Kosovo and the Western Balkans.

Konjufca and Ireland shared the common view that good and comprehensive relations between Kosovo and Italy can be further expanded and strengthened in areas of mutual interest.
